  Went to New Hope my whole life and while I can say that God has used it for my good in regards to both salvation and sanctification (Romans 8:28), I can say with all of my heart that this church preaches a false gospel (Galatians 1) and tickles ears for attendance (2 Tim 4:3). Sermons are based on movies, opinions, relative moralism, but not Christ and Him crucified (1 Cor 2:2). Away from all of the non-essentials to salvation, you will never hear of sin of both yourself or the world, never that Christ is all sufficient for salvation, and quite frankly you will NEVER hear the word of God (at least preached in an exegetically or hermeneutically appropriate way). With it being said that they preach a false gospel, if you truly love Christ and His word stay away from this church and keep your loved ones from it. As there are many people that myself and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ truly love there, we would encourage anyone that knows people in this Church would be to love them with the love of Christ so that they may see the Truth of the Gospel otherwise it is meaningless (1 Cor 13). New Hope does not preach the way of salvation, rather they preach the way to live a happy and good life - just look at their mission statement.

  Started attending in 1995, the church and members saw me through a divorce, the raising of 2 daughters as a single Dad, my remarriage and so many other life events that I have lost count. Pastor Russ speaks to me through his sermons, the congregation is warm and welcoming and the programs are wide and varied. Great place to seek God and share your faith!

  When we first moved to Castle Rock, we were searching for something more than just a "Church". When we visited New hope, we immediately felt at "Home". Unfortunately we were a little skeptical, but continued to visit...and never left. We not only became members of New Hope, but at the age of 45 I was baptised here as well. We truly feel that we found a home.
  
  Find a Home, Build a Life, Make a Difference are more than just "words" at New Hope. It is a way of life. We were accepted for who we were, right where were, and made to feel welcome.

  We've been members of New Hope for over 25 years. Each week we leave worship inspired & challenged. We're especially excited by the missions New Hope supports locally (Douglas/Elbert Task Force, homeless students, assistance to struggling community members and ESL to name a few) and in Zimbabwe. The children & youth programs are exceptional and create an environment where faith is "caught as well as taught". No matter your previous religious experience (or lack thereof), New Hope is inclusive.
